An eye opening struggle to find love within
I love the lovestory told in this tender way. The tedious path to self-awareness and making peace with ourself time and time again. I found the voice work genius, finding a tone of speechlessness.

LGBTQ+ love story
As another aroace it's always great to see some representation, but this story was heartwarming, funny and outright hilarious, thought provoking, sad and brilliant. One of the best books I have ever read!

Thank you Alice Oseman
I‘ve known that I’m ace half my life now.
But sometimes still fell lost and alone and not understood.
I‘m not out to the most of my family or friends… I’m in a strait passing relationship since 11 years. Never had the urge to tell anyone because they would not understand/believe me?
This book explains sooo much about this topic and much more. I feel seen.
I recommend this book to every aro and ace person and the supporters of the community 💙

beautiful novel
This novel portrays something that many other teen stories fall short of. The search for oneself and the ability to love yourself just as you are. Beautifully written, there are many insights into a main character who evolves throughout the story. It is also important to make asexual people visible in books, as they are as much a part of the univerity setting as anyone else.

The first book about aces that isn't utter nonsens
This is the first YA novel that I found actually relatable. It was recommended to me by other asexual people and now I see why.
It was very real and I appreciate that.

i really needed this
i'm so glad this book exists. in this society we are so often invidible, so it feels great to be seen. i hope a lot of people listen to this and start to understand us

A blessing to my Aro Ace soul
I love this book so much, not just because I can personally relate to so many of Georgia's feelings!
I feel like i can hand this book to all my friends when I wish them to better understand asexuality and whenever I don't know how to express myself.
I think it's a wonderful story about love and friendship and I enjoyed getting to know all the characters.

great, heartwarming book with a lot of insight
I really loved having an honest insight in the feelings of a aromantic asexual person (being heterosexual). I loved to learn about the protagonists thoughts and feelings. It’s heartwarming, funny and lovely written and I find it really refreshing that the Plot/story isn‘t all dramatic, non-realistic and just about straight people. It‘s time for queer characters to show up in stories more often!
