One of the greatest.
It's not the way it is written, that makes it great, it is what it started. The New Jedi Order is a great series about the greatest thread the Star Wars Legends universe had to face, the Yuuzhan Vong. All the storylines will run together in this massive 19 part series and quite a few of them will end.
The audio book is a little short and all the characters sound tired. But it was fun to listen to anyways. I'd recommend reading up some of the legends books that came before it, because it could be quite confusing not knowing the names. If you want to start with Star Wars Legends, you should start with the old Thrawn trilogy, the first book is called "Heir to the Empire".
