The story

Absolutely phenomenal!
Absolutely phenomenal fights between the primarchs. I would have wished for more lore about Vulkan in the Siege of Terra series, but this was still really well written.

classic ADB novel
classic ADB novel with all the flaws and crannies that come with it.
It's a good Blood Angels book.
It's not a very good Siege book.
It doesn't happen much in the siege timeline, a lot of characters get introduced and not touched again.
Some story points get too little attention for my personal taste.
Still a decent book.

Best one in the series yet
One of the best installations in the series. So many heart wrenching moments which had me close to tears. Loved it all the way through.

it's the pinnacle of Warhammer Storytelling
Years and years of storytelling culminate in this epic tale of tragic, loss, heroism, defiance and madness. Jonathan Keeble does a stellar job as always. Looking forward to the sieges climax.

Angel versus the world
Quite epic story and I enjoyed it much. "only" 4 stars, because I did not like how the Angel overpowered Angron after kicking ass of Ka'Bandha.

Absolutely stunning
Wow!!! After a few weaker books in the series this one was an absolute masterpiece. Amazing and tragic characters, emotional story arcs, final battles between Primarchs. This book has it all and the delivery and voice acting is perfectly on point. I knew Bowden was a good writer, but I didn't expect him to rival the best works of Dan Abnett with this.

lots of Primarchs in 1st person
good story. at times it felt too cramped. and how powerful is Sanguineous fighting Angron and Karbandar?!

Girl Power in the grim Derpness of the far future
The story is bit too fade to my tastes, yes the storyline with amir is fine, but it's almost the same as with Kharn and Sigismund. And who could forget forgotten heroes of this conflict like Fatima the Flying Ace or Esha Mohana or Lotara Sarrin, I mean these storyline were pretty decent dont get me wrong, or that new stuff with Urda, who gets her super special space marine that like no other space marine evar oh or Skitarii girl from Sevastopol, Ukraine (srsly ADB?). This inclusion is getting a little out of hand. Half of the story line is about space marines and for the other half we get some half assed plots, like that subplot in the first book with Mersadie Oliton. And the other half we get story's with girl like wtf. Even in the indomitus books, it's always a female sidekick or is in some way integral to the story. I don't know man I just expected a little bit more of the biggest Battle of the biggest war that shaped the imperium and made it what it is. Have we reached the point in warhammer where diversity and inclusion is more important than the actual story you're trying to write. And vice versa the story gets shit because you focus to much on the wrong things. As if anybody will read this far anyway, have a great one fellow Elegan(t g)entleman and girls!

einer der schwächeren teile
leider viel Kampf (krach-bumm-peng ohne Inhalt außer splatter und Gore). was interessiert mich ob er erst links und dann rechts schlägt? dafür so gut wie keine Story, viel wirres geschreibe. darum worum es eigentlich gehen sollte, drückt sich der Roman bis zum Schluss. wenn man richtig drauf steht, bitte schön. wer (wie ich) langsam genug von den ewig selben Kampfszenen hat und vor allem für die große Geschichte und die wichtigen Charaktere der heresy hier ist - skip this one.
speaker ist super, Jonathan keeble rockt. allerdings seeeehr intense. keine Ahnung wieso man Kannibalismus und splatter so detailliert beschreiben muss...
solide 2 Sterne von mir.
