unfassbar gut!
Halten Sie die Hörbuch-Ausgabe von Dreamsongs (Unabridged Selections) für besser als das Buch?
ich kenne das buch nicht, aber es kann nicht besser sein als das hörbuch.
Welche Figur hat Ihnen am besten gefallen? Warum?
kann ich nicht sagen, ALLE figuren waren exzellent charakterisiert.
Welche Szene hat Ihnen am besten gefallen?
jede der kurzgeschichten war ein erlebnis für sich.
Gab es im Hörbuch einen Moment, der Sie ganz besonders berührt hat?
ja, unzählige momente gab es.
Was wäre für andere Hörer sonst noch hilfreich zu wissen, um das Hörbuch richtig einschätzen zu können?
eine mischung aus fantasy sci-fi, horror und anderen genres, die ich bisher nicht einmal kannte. der autor hatte ideen, auf die sonst noch niemand gekommen ist. spannend hoch 3, diese geschichten packen einen und lasssen einen nicht mehr los.

A great look at the work of GRRM
This book is a journey through the life of GRRM - the author of the Game of Thrones books - and after it you will wish he finishes GoT and writes SciFi again.
This book not only introduces you to a universe of great SciFi and horror stories, that explore emotions from deep and complex to simple to repulsive and thought-provoking, but also starts with an exploration of where Martin was in his life when he wrote the stories.
The biographic bits are narrated by the author himself. This gives it the feeling of sitting down by the fire with him and listening to his stories. Not only will you appreciate even the weaker stories through this but you also get a glimpse of what it was like the be an author at those times and in the later parts you get introduced to SciFi scene and other authors of the time - being great starting points for searches should you want more SciFi after this.

Insgesamt gut
Nicht alle Geschichten sind 'sehr gut', viele aber schon. Manche dagegen sogar eher mittelmäßig. Aber wenn man das ganze als ausgedehnte Bibliografie sieht ist es hervorragend und man versteht am Ende sogar Satin G.R.R. Martin so lange für seine Bücher braucht. Insgesamt sehr lohnenswerte Lektüre (darf man das zu Hörnchen sagen?).
Noch eine Warnung, wer Sword&Sorcery artige Fantasy sucht wird hier enttäuscht. Von der Sorte gibt es hier nur eine Geschichte, dafür viel Sciencefiction.

Great!
Great, entertaining storys with a diverse cast of narrators and a very interesting, vast exploration of different genres.
I can recommend this to anyone.

A lot of profranity, very perverse sex scenes and violence especially towards the end. Just be warned this author has a sick mind. If u like that be my guest, read this book.
