The story:

A good story about the fall of Cadia
The story is well written and has a good way by introducing a bunch of somewhat main characters of steering the listeners around Cadia, showing the battlefield from different views.
I just wished there was more backround to the actual fall of the pylons and a little less battle-waging.
But after all, I'm quite pleased with this book.
Last point: since I'm not a native speaker it took me some time to accommodate to the Scottish accent of the speaker. Don't get me wrong, he is a very good reader and the accent is pretty slight, but it still took my ears a bit to get used to it.

Cadia's last stand

Good narrator performance, rubbish story
Unfortunately the story feels extremely disconnected and jumps all over the place without achieving anything, story telling wise. Also the author seems to struggle very hard with the kind of numbers that would be present at a the cadian gate. While the story pretends to tell the history of large battles, the way it is written and numbers just don't make any sense. Probably the worst 40k book in my library, sadly.

Didnt catch me
Some parts were pretty cool, but overall.. i dont know.. it feels like starting a great story, but never going all in..
