Muy educativo y ameno
Me gustó bastante. Lo he escuchado ya varias veces. Me quedé con el mensaje que hay que diseñar un entorno estimulador para el desarrollo integral del niño, como su cuarto con una esquina para cada área de lectura, música, ciencia, construcción, matemáticas, etc.

Sympathetic yet factual - Love it!
We‘re only 8weeks pregnant but after finishing listening to John Medina‘s heart-warming and just as info-loaded audio book, we can’t wait to start parenting.
Will listen again in the last trimester :)

awesome content and great narration
informative book thats written with some great sense of humor. i absolutely didnt get bored listening to it as the narrator/ reader is also equally as amusing as the content.

Empfehlenswert. Für alle (fast) Eltern.
Ich hab 3 Kinder. Kimberly (20), Dennis (13) und Josie (5 Monate).
Über die letzten 21 Jahre habe ich viel gelesen über das was man tun soll, was helfen könnte und was nichts bringt...
Mozart DVDs, mindestens 6 Monate Stillen etc.
John Medina ist anerkannter Gehirnforscher und spricht professionell selber dieses Audiobook.
Ich lese meine deutschen Audibles mit 3x Geschwindigkeit und englischen mit 2x Geschwindigkeit. Jeder mit guten englischen Kenntnissen sollte auch bei normaler Geschwindigkeit mindestens 99% des Hörbuchs verstehen.
Und wer deutsch bevorzugt, der kann zum deutschen Buch greifen.
Ein Must-listen/read für werdende/ gerade-gewordene Eltern.

Good, not great
Gets a little too deep into neuroscience details, which I believe nobody excepts neuroscientists would understand or care for, and as any run-of-the-mill self-help author, suggests over-the-top improvements like videotaping your spouse as they care for the child and analysing together what is done wrong/right as if paying attention live isn’t enough. Having filtered out some of these aspects, it is a good read/listen.
