Outstanding Creativity and Research
Elizabeth Gilbert’s extensive research into the 19. century living is impressive mixed with her ingenious creativity to come up with new characters entering Alma‘s life at the most desirable moments. Her deliciously detailed descriptions of everything Alma is doing and feeling makes this story a bestseller.
I loved listening to Alma’s deep personal insights into her life, her feelings and thoughts and the exquisite travel back in the 1800s.
I recommend this book highly.
