Where is Bones' British accent???
I'm a fan of the Cat and Bones stories - and I love how brilliantly Tavia Gilbert narrates them. And her version of Bones' British accent in my ear, this Bones is a big disappointment. Muffled and totally un-British, his thoughts and the literal speech sounds slurred.
I only stuck it out because I liked the story and wanted to hear it from Bones' point of view.
In addition, the pace of the narration is too slow for my taste. For the first time ever, I listened to a story at 1.1 times the normal speed.
My conclusion: Great story, but the wrong narrator.

Perfect narrator
Just wow. I loved the halfway to the grave series to death. And listening to it all from Bones's side is just exactly what I needed. And they couldn't have chosen a better narrator either. This is 5 stars all the way, I hope there'll be a next installment in his viewpoint!!!

I freaking LOVE Bones!
Like the rest of the series, I listened to this one on audio and really enjoyed it! It was amazing to go back to this story and see the events from Bones’ perspective!
I still prefer Cats POV though! (because the narrator did such an amazing job...it was hard to beat and Bones is more mysterious)
I would advise reading this one after the first couple of books as it spoils some aspects that weren't revealed in book.
