Great story, stellar voice acting

Sophie Aldred is now my favourite voice actress. Just wow.

Thoroughly enjoyed the story as well. Charismatic characters and solid "popcorn" sci-fi.

Becoming a bigger fan after every book

Brandon Sandersons work always manages to get deep emotio s out of me. Excitement from the action and heartfelt tears from the tender moments

It's the best audio book ever!

While I never thought I could be interested in what things people learn in flight school, Brandon Sanderson explained Spensa's challenges in such a thrilling way, I couldn't stop listening and always was eager to hear more! Also, I can imagine this is the first book better listened to than read - the invigorating, motivated voices are so fun to listen to, it has been a real joy! The humour of the machine also made me laugh out loud several times. Thank you for all the fun I had with this book. Now I'll be listening to every single one of Sanderson's books!

My first Brandon Sanderson experience

Oh man where do i even start.
There is so much emotion in this.
Let me start by saying that i at the moment of this review, haven't read another Brandon Sanderson series. Only this one.
So keep that in mind while you read my review.
So let's start with the characters. There are so many of them. So many that you think to yourself "will i even remember any of these?".
Yes. Yes you will. The Characters are all different and unique to eachother. The development is amazing. The growth of the characters is just unbelievably good. The plot is intriguing and it presents you with questions that just keep you hooked because you want to know more.
The Dogfights are amazing. There's so much action in this, but it's just written so beautifully, and it just keeps you on the tip of your toes.

I definitely recommend this. One of my favourite series that i have ever read.

Amazing book made even greater by awesome narrator

I love this book. And this audio narration is the best version making it even better than the original text!
I've been reading SciFi for decades, but this is by far my favorite. Though it has been written with younger audience in mind, it is such a masterpiece that readers in all ages can fully enjoy. While I am a fan of Brandon Sanderson's work, I admit that the best feature of this audio book is actually the wonderful skillful narration by Sophie Aldred. This is not only the best version of the book, but her masterful voice acting has actually elevated the book. I was even a bit disappointed that the original text didn't feature the amazing accents she created. My particular favorite, and the absolutely best thing about the book, is the voice and accent for the M-Bot character. I hope the narrator gets some recognition for this.

Fantastic

There was so much that I loved about this Audiobook.

Sophie Aldred really made this novel magical. I loved how she brought all the characters to life. I especially loved the Scottish accented M-bot. I found her voice absolutely beautiful to listen to and very relaxing. Thanks for making this book memorable.

The story was also very entertaining and it has me absolutely hooked. I have downloaded the second book and can't wait to start.

nice book

nice plot. nice twists. still a very spacehero good feel story.
it is a lttle sterile and seems rather for the young reader but a good story anyway.

Danke lieber Gott

endlich wieder ein gutes und durchgehend spannendes Buch. Ich dachte schon ich wäre nur abgestumpft und deswegen gefallen mir keine Bücher mehr. Aber nein, ich hab in der Vergangenheit einfach überhypten Schrott gelesen und habe in Brandon Sanderson endlich meine Erlösung von schlechten Schriftstellern erhalten.

Another great Book from the Sanderson

The book is closer in style to the Rekkoners than either mistborn or stormlight. Yet he still has his well known charme when exploring a completely new setting.

The idea of the unlikely hero finding a chance to fulfill her dreams is a bit like Eragon, but the similarities end there. No magic this time.

I am looking forward to part two, shouldn't be too long.
