In the dark future of 40k, Orcs are having fun!
The reader does a great job portraying the Ork BoyZ and the Story is so much fun. They attack an Imperial forge world, so the fights are absolutley epic. The secundary storyline following the defenders is also very Interesting with adeptus mechanicus protagonists. I have a very strong urge to be an Orc now.

Entertaining audiobook
Great voice acting and solid orc story. If you want an audio book about an orc waaaagh it is the right choice for you.

More of This Kind of Voiceacting
It was fun hearing this book, better then a horus heresy book where, I personally go brain afk after some time and I can't follow the monoton voice!
It felt like a pession of Tom Allenby to speak orc!

Absolutely Brilliant voice acting!
I musst say, the enthusiasm that the reader puts into this novel is fascinating!

Not bad but not green enough
To be honest: At times it feels like an admech book that happened to feature orks while I expected an ork book that features some hummies.
At times it felt like the author wanted to write an Imperium book, but was forced to insert an ork pov character. It was my impression at least with all those named characters and subplots for the Imperium while I could summarise the entire ork part in 1-2 sentences.
The ork part itself was glorious though.
The Voices were pretty good as well for all characters. When it came to the orks, it sounded a bit like the readers "I want to convey screaming, but my parents are asleep next door"-voice but that is the only negative thing I could find.

Zoggin briliant

Great 40k audiobook!
This was a really great 40k audiobook! I usually don’t like the Games Workshop narrated audiobooks and prefer the YouTube fan read versions but I came here after a recommendation and don’t regret it.
Orks are a fun and over-the-top addition to the 40k universe and the narrator captured that feeling brilliantly.
