"He made me his. Then, he branded me a traitor."
Elyna thought she had finally escaped her past. Running from a dangerous MC, she found refuge with the Iron Vultures and in the arms of their ruthless president, Bones. For eight months, she lived a lie—wrapped in his leather, sleeping in his bed, believing she was safe. Believing he loved her.
But secrets have a way of surfacing.
When her past is exposed, Bones doesn't ask questions. He doesn't listen. He marks her. He brands her. And he sends her back to the very men she ran from.
Left for dead, broken beyond repair, Ely swears one thing: if she survives, she will burn it all down.
Now, she has a new name, a new life, and a new purpose. She is no longer the girl who loved a man who betrayed her. She is the woman who will never make the same mistake again.
But Bones?
He isn't done with her.
And he'll do anything to get her back.
This is a standalone book, part of the Iron Vultures MC series. Happy-ever-after guaranteed. For mature listeners.

The story follows a heroine who escapes years of abuse inside a rival MC, only to fall for the president of another club. Their chemistry is raw, the danger feels real, and the emotional tension is on another level. When he brands her “traitor,” believing she infiltrated his club, my heart actually dropped — the twist hits hard because Himera Ink writes with such visceral intensity.
What I love most is the heroine’s transformation. She’s not just surviving — she’s evolving. Becoming stronger, sharper, and more resilient with every chapter.
And the hero’s arc? The regret, the searching, the years of obsession, the grovel… it all feels earned, not rushed or cliché.
The writing is addictive, atmospheric, and emotionally honest. The world feels gritty and immersive, and the narration brings out every bit of tension and vulnerability.
If you enjoy dark romance with MC elements, morally grey characters, emotional trauma done right, and a love story that burns slow but deep — give this audiobook a chance.
It’s powerful, painful, and incredibly compelling.
This author deserves a much bigger audience.
A gripping, emotional, and beautifully brutal dark romance that deserves far more attention.

For this reason, Traitor is certainly not for every reader. This dark romance MC lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers story is truly very dark. Bones and Temperance take an extremely self-destructive path which leads to extreme measures and even extreme (self-)punishment.
Bones is obsessed with Temperance, extremely smart, and a true alpha male. Temperance, on the other hand, takes an extremely traumatic path that changes her life forever. But amidst all the blood and violence, there are also some lighter moments, even if they're tinged with a bitter tinge of satisfaction. And the best part is that these strong MC brothers aren't infallible and Himera Ink has already started stoking the individual hellfire for one or the other. I'm really excited to see what happens next.
Wow. This author doesn't skimp on her characters.
