Ich wünschte ich hätte Aileen Barratt und tindertranslator schon gekannt, als ich selbst noch gedatet habe bzw. mich auf die Welt des Online-Datings eingelassen habe.
Vieles, was ich aus Unwissenheit auf mich bezogen und persönlich genommen habe, ist wie die Autorin (frei zitiert) sagt 'the same in Manchester as in Melbourne'. Auch der deutsche Markt/das Patriarchat hierzulande ist absolut vergleichbar.
Sie erklärt und übersetzt mit viel Witz und Versand die häufigsten Phrasen in Profilen und gibt Tipps wie man fuckboys und Co frühzeitig erkennen und umschiffen kann.
Das Hörbuch ist somit wirklich 'allgemeingültig' für Menschen, die cis-het-Männer daten.
Aileen liest ihr Werk selbst und ihre Stimme macht das Ganze nochmal so gut.
