No matter how many wolves or goblins attack, no matter how many speeding tickets she racks up, no matter how many bakeries spontaneously combust as she steps into town, one way or another, Eve is going to get that goddamned bread.

There just might be a few side quests along the way.

Even though this is a good, not great, story and it has quite the humor, the narrator reads everything as if the characters are always annoyed and irritated instead of laughing and giggeling. The mood of the narration does not fit the characters at all and most of the humor gets lost in wrong timing and bad narration. A female narrator would fit the story much more but a good male narrator could have pulled it of. Sadly the story suffers because of it.

hast du schon Mal gelacht und willst es nochmal machen, dann ist diese Trilogie die perfekte Packung.
Diese Buch ist einen wunderbare, lustige und spaßige Geschichte mit genau der richtigen Länge.
Es lohnt sich bis zum letzten Wort, also los Kauf es ;D

I mean yes it is a power fantasy but there is still character development and genuine conflict and stakes in here

real stakes, ridiculous progression :)

The characters are likeable enough and the story is entertaining(ish).
The part that annoyed me the most is the reoccurring phrases. I heard enough curses about goddess tits for a lifetime or two.

Simple main characters and below average story. No mysteries, no interesting world or magic system. Ok to hear while driving or to fall asleep.
