I’ve only known her a few weeks. She’s taken over my life. And I think she’s after my family.
I just wanted to get fit for my wedding day. To look perfect when I marry Seb – the man who made me believe in love again, after what happened to my first husband.
Everyone says I’m rushing in. Maybe they’re right. But Seb is everything I ever wanted. And his teenage daughter will come round – in time.
So when I meet Claudia – all golden hair, gleaming teeth, and relentless positivity – she feels like the answer to everything. My personal trainer. My new best friend. My biggest mistake.
At first, she’s perfect. The workouts, the meal plans, the constant messages checking in. But soon she’s everywhere – at my gym, in my local park, outside my house – watching me.
Seb says I’m imagining things. Until I find a photo of his dead wife in our kitchen – a photo he swears he’s never seen before – and Claudia’s car parked outside in the dark.
I know I’m not losing my mind. She wants my life. My family. But I’m not the pushover she thinks I am.
Because the real danger might not be her . . . It might be someone much closer to home.
