The Wilder Brothers from New York Times best-selling author Carrie Ann Ryan continues with a second-chance romance that brings Everett Wilder to his knees.

The moment I saw Bethany Cole, I knew she was not only out of my league, but in a whole different world.

Only I didn’t realize I’d met her before.

An explosion stole part of my past, including the first time I’d seen her pretty face.

Now she’s an A-list celebrity. And I’m just a Wilder.

But when her boyfriend cheats on her, Bethany needs a safe place to hide from the paparazzi. The Wilder’s Retreat seems like the perfect escape.

Only every time we see each other it’s hard to remember we come from two different worlds. And that the danger that follows her is only the beginning.

This audiobook could be quite interesting. The story is not new but has some interesting tweaks. However, the narrators! The female voice is okay. It was not my cup of tea but bearable. The male voice however is a no go. He sounds weepy all the time (which makes spicy scenes very uncomfortable) and is a bit too low and I had to turn up the volume every time he took over. I suffered through the whole audio book but it was no pleasure

Could be an interesting story but the narrators….

The Story itself was quite okay although it seems to turn around in circles the whole time, again and again. What made it really not worth listening to, were the narrators. Both are whining the whole time, making listening to the already quiet fretful story really hard. I only stuck to the story til the end because I really like the whole Wilder-story and didn't want to miss out on any news around the family.

Story with the chance of being much more
