A story that warms your heart. Who does not want to be part of that gang?! Also a stunning performance.

Just wonderful

I really am excited about this audiobook!

Grossartig

I loved the book, just like the previous three. The character development was so moving and raw. It was a pleasure to listen to!

Like meeting old friends

Very nice again :). One thing: Is it just me or is part of chapter 7 missing?

Highly recommended!

It certainly didn’t disappoint- amazing how lovely it is to immerse yourself with this gang of adventurous pensioners plus their troop of friends and nemeses. Richard Osman has managed to follow up with a heart-warming and well plotted new instalment in which Joy, Elizabeth, Ron and ibrahim take on heroin smugglers, drug dealers, romance scammers and plenty of dead bodies. Despite all the action and humour, there are some deep and sad moments, and profound chapters on love and loss and the meaning of life. Even though I am about 3 decades behind the gang, I loved this book and highly recommend it!

5 star combination of people, plot & pitch
