The story is draws you in from the first sentence. The characters are very likeable and the heroine is refreshingly self-sufficient and no damsel in distress.
I could have gone without the erotic scenes but they were well written and not that often.
Narration was perfect.
This book is for listeners who would like to be entertained without the drama of reality.
I will definitely listen to book 2.

This was a great love story and sets up an interesting new series while wrapping up the storyline for these characters.

Das erste Buch dieser Reihe hat mich bis 4 Uhr morgens wach gehalten, obwohl mir Schlaf heilig ist, bis ich dann bewusst die Geschichte unterbrechen musste. Normalerweise lullen mich Hörbücher schnell ein, aber diese Geschichte war doch zu spannend. Die Sprecherin ist sehr gut verständlich und ich mag ihre Intonation.

Jetzt lese ich die zweite Geschichte dieser Reihe und bin überrascht, dass sie so vollkommen anders ist, aber ebenso spannend. Normalerweise reicht mir die erste Geschichte einer Reihe, die folgenden langweilen mich schon, weil die vorgestellte Welt zu einfach gestaltet ist und die Charaktere wenig Persönlichkeit aufweisen, nicht so hier. Es handelt sich um Romance Sci-Fi, aber nicht übertrieben auf Romance fokussiert. Sexszenen vorhanden, aber selten und nicht ausgefallen.
Ich freue mich schon auf das dritte Buch.

i found the set up with the pregnancy bit questioning, but the birthing scene is basicly a handbook of a clinical birth and in my opinion all wrong. so i d take a guess and say the author hasnt given birth

I really wanted to like the story, but the insta love was a huge turn off for me. The pregnancy and the aliens plus supernatural beings seemed interesting enough at the start, but it couldn't grab my attention for too long
