I'm Sophia Henley, your typical college freshman. I never expected a lion to be stalking me, nor for fire to come shooting out of my hands to protect my sister. You have all the PK elements and all the cheesy lines in this series, if you can ignore it the story is half decent but it needs alot more editing.
if you skip all the horny teenager BS its an good story, what I disliked about it, is the narrator Jennifer Jill Araya voice, the way she made the sss sound in every word, the pitch hurt my ears, she must have a broken mic or something, and it ruins the book, don't get me wrong as long as she doesn't use words with the sss sound in them she sounds great and that makes me think it's an tech issue and not a bad narrator.


Someone at audible should take a look at it, I've heard the same bad sound in a few audiobooks on the platform and it's the sss sound each time that has a very high pitch and it hurts my ears.

Innovation usw anderes. Es ist hörbar aber mit den ganzen "das dürfen wir nicht", "das sind die sozialen Richtlinien" und der allgemeinen Hörigkeit der Charaktere macht das zuhören teils sehr schwer.

had to dnf at chapter 5 because the potholes/ inconsistenties were driving me crazy.
maybe the writing gets better later on, but I'll never know...
