What if there was a pill that stopped all addiction? A simple pill that you could take that stopped drug addiction, gambling addiction, porn addiction, religious addiction, shopping addiction, any kind of addiction…would you take it?
Dr. Disraeli Gaye has developed such a pill, and it’s on its way to FDA approval. The drug cartels are watching nervously. But everyone else wants in, from drug addicts to doctors to Wall Street. The only problem is…someone is trying to kill the good doctor.
The researchers at Stanford are racing to finish testing the new anti-addiction drug, nicknamed Dopa; hedge funds are pooling their money to invest; addicts are anxiously awaiting a way out of their addiction; but Dr. Gaye has disappeared. The police think he’s been kidnapped.
As reporter Ben Wozniak tries to unravel the mystery, ex-detective Dan Landes and Police Chief José Fernando try to protect the doctor from being murdered in Robert Rahula’s new mystery The Dopa Project.
Robert Rahula, the author of The Erikschitz Principle, Weightless, and Inauthenticity, brings us another exciting Dan Landes Mystery, full of scientific paradoxes, human weaknesses, and…murder.
