Eventhough I think the story could have benefited of some more info to flesh it out a bit, this was a very believable romance. The manner in which the characters were used to keep the sex scenes fresh was inspired.
Downside for me was the ending, which felt rushed and could've benefited from more internal dispair and turmoil to match the actions taken.

Ich würde dieses Buch nicht weiter empfehlen. Mir gefällt der Erzählrhythmus der Sprecherin überhaupt nicht. Ich finde sie erzählt die Geschichte auf eine flache Art - als ob sie die Charaktere in dem Buch nicht mag oder als langweilig empfindet. Das hat mich sehr irritiert. Eigentlich ist die Geschichte ganz süß. Aber ich würde sie nur zum selberlesen empfehlen.

Falls Sie schon andere Titel von Christina Lauren angehört haben: Wie würden Sie diese dazu vergleichen?

Im Vergleich zu anderen Büchern von Christina Lauren fand ich dieses Buch nicht so überzeugend. Es hat mir etwas gefehlt. Einerseits der Humor, der mich beim hören zum glucksen bringt und anderer Seits die Überzeugung, dass die Autorinnen selbst halb verliebt sind in Ihre Protagonisten. Genau das hat mich bisher dazu gebracht die Bücher zu hören.

Wen hätten Sie anstatt Shayna Thibodeaux als Erzähler vorgeschlagen?

Ich mag Erzählerinnen wie z.B.: Grace Grant, Carolyn Morris, Justine Eyre oder Amanda Ranconi. Die wären für mich die besser Wahl gewesen.
