Sixteen seasons in the sun—mostly.
A cricket-mad Australian is living in England when he makes a decision that will change his life. He becomes an umpire.
In this sparkling new memoir we journey from Sunday village friendlies in Kent and the county championship, to the hallowed turf of the MCG and some of the world's best female cricketers.
Discover the hidden secrets of Law 44, the notorious Julie Bishop Award, and why no one is ever really out LBW.
Engaging and funny throughout, Stumped is a delicious treat that will delight anyone who has ever enjoyed a game of cricket.
“It’s the kind of book to have by your side, ready for a wet weekend, when you still need your cricket fix.” (crickether.com)
