Something is lurking in the darkness of space. Something that could put an end to humanity…After the dramatic events on Mars, the Space Punks are reunited on board the Nephilim.
Knowing that the Legion will most certainly retaliate after their crushing defeat, Hel wants to leave the solar system as quickly as possible and meet with her brother in the Tau Ceti system.
While Aztec and Nightingale are planning their wedding, David is struggling with his new assignment: to reveal the truth about the Seraph fleet and their origins. And the rest of the crew are trying to get used to the two new members they picked up on Mars.
But as it turns out, the Nephilim can’t leave the Sol system just yet.
Niemand believes that there has to be a second artifact hidden in the ice caves under Ceres and convinces Hel that it’s imperative that the crew retrieves it before it falls into the wrong hands.
Yet what they discover instead could pose the biggest threat to humanity since the Great War and puts Niemand and David’s loyalty to the test.
Meanwhile, Lucien and his ship, the Nemesis, are lurking in the shadows, ready to strike when Hel and her people are at their most vulnerable…Robots, cyborgs, mechs, and epic spaceship battles! The space opera adventure continues!
