I thought I knew danger after my first few weeks at MistHallow. I was wrong.
The bonds between me and my guys have grown stronger, deeper, and more twisted. Our magick intertwines in ways that defy explanation.
But our connection has unleashed something dark. Ancient. Hungry.
Whispers of a forgotten ritual echo through the academy's halls. A ritual that could grant unimaginable power—or destroy us all.
My wild magick is spiralling out of control, responding to their darkness in ways I never imagined. I'm losing myself in them, in the intoxicating blend of danger and desire they offer.
But we're not the only ones after the ritual's power. Enemies lurk in the shadows, some wearing friendly faces. Trust becomes a luxury I can't afford.
As the lines between love and obsession blur, I have to ask myself: am I strong enough to control the chaos we've unleashed? Or will I succumb to the darkness?
This is a dark paranormal romance. It's book two of three in a reverse harem romance by USA Today bestselling author, Eve Newton. Set in England and written in British English. For mature listeners.

Narrator: I think their pronunciation is charming and adds character.
Overall: Reads like developmental editing was skipped. Yet if you close both eyes and focus on voice instead and the steamy scenes, which really use the number of people available, it is good. Think it could be way better with plot holes fixed, but I like listening to it anyway while doing chores. Nice background story :-)
