I loved the series very much and was glad, that it ended with the happiness of the very misterious Duke. But the very obvious similarities with Pride and Prejudice disturbed me a little bit.

Nice easy listening, predictable ending but lovely. All 6 books in the series were great. Best narrator ever

I really enjoyed the plot and went through the whole story in one day. Rosalyn Landor as a speaker was at her best.

Ich finde die Geschichte so langweilig, dass ich mich jetzt bisher schon mehrmals bei der Überlegung ertappt habe, dass weiterhören sein zu lassen.
Es ist für mich die bisher schlechteste Story, nach der kompletten Westcott und Bedwin Reihe.
Vielleicht liegt es an der Heldin. Ihr Verhalten ist auf Dauer anstrengend und auch das Verhalten des Helden. Habe noch knapp 3h vor mir… hoffe auf Besserung.
Die Sprecherin ist wie immer grandios.
Edit: Der Schluss ist besser und hat mich halbwegs versöhnt
