Brimming with humor and powerful emotion, prepare to fall in love with this modern-day nod to a classic rom com.

Matt Mazola never expected a popular relationship podcast to change his life, but that’s exactly what happens when he tunes in and hears a young woman share her heartfelt wish that her grieving father find love again. The widower she describes - Hugo James - captures Matt’s attention, and he sets off on a crash course to meet the other man.

But Matt soon discovers that he and Hugo are an unlikely match. Matt is a 20-something city guy who’s still searching for his life’s purpose while Hugo is an accomplished 45-year-old Brit living in the Hamptons. Why would Hugo be interested in guy like him? But fate seems to have a plan in store for them, and when destiny steps in, who are Matt and Hugo to stop its irresistible pull?

just perfect. love me some non-judgemental age gap with a sugary cute romance. this melted my heart. every single character felt very relatable and I love how they each found their way to face the future after what happened to them. happy ends for everyone. all in all this was just thoroughly wholesome.

perfect

I realy liked the build uo. sad it stoppen when the relationship started. way to short, but cute nonetheless

cute love story

No angst, no drama, no nothing. A lot of side storylines (all uninteresting) and the story is basically all in the heads of the two MCs.

The narrators are not very convincing. I love Teddy Hamilton normally, but I think this character did not suit his voice.

So boring!

Die Story ist gut aber wer gerne "prickelnde" Liebesgeschichten liest wird enttäuscht sein, sonst super.

Süße Liebesgeschichte

... of "Sleepless in Seattle" bit it touched me even more. I love it and looking fprward to the next book of Sydney Smyth (what I'm up to starting immediately).

Wonderful Adaption
