This is the first audiobook I listened to from this author and apart from the excellent narration it was really underwhelming. The characters didn‘t get me, the whole storyline seemed ill-conceived and rushed. Most of the time I just wanted to shake the MCs until they found their words 🙄. I hope this was just a fluke as I bought several of her audiobooks through a promo campaign and would rather enjoy the others a little more on my commute…
