Father may have been prepared to meet a demon, but he wasn’t ready for Noah.

The trip to the Linwick Estate is finally complete. A meeting with Father looms, and with it the greatest threat that Noah has ever faced. Not only does he have to pretend to be the demon that Father sent his own son to get killed by, but he needs to find a way to trick the paranoid man into revealing the secret to killing the very demon that he’s taken the spot of.

Everyone in the Estate seems to have ulterior motives and Noah’s students aren’t an exception. The truth behind why Isabel and Todd were assigned to Vermil’s tutelage in the first place lurks in the shadows, impatient to rear its head.

The tenuous tower of cards that Noah has built threatens to tumble to the ground. Enemies surround him and Father’s machinations stretch farther than anyone ever could have guessed.

There’s just one thing he didn’t account for. As dangerous and experienced as Father is, Noah is older—and he’s a far better liar.

I thoroughly enjoyed this and am looking forward to the next installment. Meeting Father right at the start felt a little weird pacing wise.

Great followup

Fails to integrate isekai aspects from book 1 into the plot and add more 'physics' to make the story more interesting. Writing contains the occasional cringy slop associated with litrpg which might have been better written by AI.

does get progressively worse

after the first book and checkin the Stars on this series.. i gave it another try, but boi... its just to slow for my taste, even with a speed of 1,5 its quite slow and to many repeating things, mumbleing and stuff like that. I even skipped chapters to stick til the end.
The Storyline isnt half bad, but slow with flaws and not really detailed. I am done with this series and the autor.

barely progress. its to slow for my taste

The writing gets terrible, the story makes no senes, the MC can even defy every rule there seems to be in the universe. The cast is dull and feels interchangable, the character interactions are one dimensional and boring. Nothing in this world makes sense, no one, apart from the MC has any agency.
This is sadly a waste, I liked the first one.

Dreadfully dull
