AN UNEXPECTED QUEST. TWO WORLDS AT STAKE. ARE YOU READY?

Days after winning OASIS founder James Halliday's contest, Wade Watts makes a discovery that changes everything.

Hidden within Halliday's vaults, waiting for his heir to find it, lies a technological advancement that will once again change the world and make the OASIS a thousand times more wondrous - and addictive - than even Wade dreamed possible.

With it comes a new riddle, and a new quest: a last Easter egg from Halliday, hinting at a mysterious prize.

And an unexpected, impossibly powerful, and dangerous new rival awaits, one who'll kill millions to get what he wants.

Wade's life and the future of the OASIS are again at stake, but this time the fate of humanity also hangs in the balance.

Lovingly nostalgic and wildly original as only Ernest Cline could conceive it, Ready Player Two takes us on another imaginative, fun, action-packed adventure through his beloved virtual universe, and jolts us thrillingly into the future once again.

I enjoyed Ready player two and love the ending. I would recommend the book, but it is different from ready player one. I would recommend the book if you liked Armada by Ernest Cline or Axiom's End by Lindsay Ellis.

Good but not for everyone

I was hesitant to download part two because I enjoyed part 1 tremendously and didn’t want to ruin that experience with a crap sequel. Which it is according to some reviews. However, I found part 2 to be very enjoyable although nothing groundbreakingly new gets introduced.

Worthy sequel!

The second book in this series lacks a bit in character development and seems to have a long, long prologue that is only covered by my unwavering enjoyment of Will Wheatons narrating skills. I enjoyed every second of this due to his ability to bring the story to life, but the writing could have done with a less prolonged starting section of the book and a more detailed end. Especially in regards to the low fives side quest for the hunt of the dork slayer. Otherwise great listen, good addition if you enjoy the setting and Will Wheaton really carries the greatness on his shoulders.

Will Wheaton is a great Narrator
