Sripad Jagannatha Das
This is Ram Dass in his own words.
Newly discovered and preserved in their original form, these lectures present Ram Dass speaking directly and without mediation. There is no polish and no performance—only the teaching as it arises in the moment. Ram Dass speaks about awareness, attachment, love, suffering, and the illusion of separation. Throughout these talks, he repeatedly acknowledges the central influence of his guru, Neem Karoli Baba, whose presence reshaped his understanding of devotion, service, and unconditional love. Neem Karoli Baba is not presented as an abstraction or symbol, but as the living source of the heart-centered teaching that runs through every word.
Rather than offering systems or conclusions, Ram Dass points again and again to direct seeing—to noticing where identity tightens, where fear persists, and where love is resisted. The teaching remains grounded in lived experience, shaped by humility and surrender rather than certainty. These newly discovered lectures allow the listener to hear Ram Dass as he was—speaking from the heart, rooted in the grace of Neem Karoli Baba, and always returning to the same simple truth: be here, now.
