Sleeping is now easy in this household! Of course it gets harder but with the strategies and methods in this book we have a relaxed and well rested baby. Most of the time ;)

This book is a must-read!

The author did her research, and actually included some useful techniques. But not only is the writing style so incredibly corny (you really don't have to stuff a joke into every single sentence), the audiobook narration is done in a "I'm the happiest person in the world and I'm having the best day every" tone, which is terrible to listen to. On top of that, the author constantly goes out of her way to repeat that you *need* to use her methods, otherwise you'll have a terrible time. The book could have been cut in less than half if it only focused on factual, relevant information and didn't show extreme bias. All of the above made me stop listening to it and actually look into the techniques mentioned on other internet sites without all the unnecessary narration.

Some useful information wrapped in cringy coating

I saw some positive comments about this book on the internet and decided to listen to the audiobook while I contact nap with my baby. I was looking for deepening my understanding of baby sleep and how I can perhaps have better sleep myself while not stressing my baby.

This book was a disappointment. It normalizes not responding to baby’s crying, saying things like it should be that way to „teach“ them how to be independent (at the age of 2-3 months??!!). It‘s also recorded in a high-pitched cheery tone which makes it very difficult to listen to for a longer stretch.

Parents need to let babies cry?
