He was a Hero. Now he's not. He'll stop at nothing to rise to the top again.

Max was murdered, but now he is mostly over it. Living on earth as a recent college graduate, he can still perfectly recall his past life on the fantasy world of Albion before that. He'd been hailed as the "Hero of the World" after crawling his way up from poverty, eventually enjoying great fame and luxury.

But on mana-starved Earth, he's just a guy.

However, when Earth is suddenly attacked, changing the natural laws of the world and threatening all life on the planet, Max will get a new opportunity to regain some of his lost power...and then some. He discovers an entire system of multi-dimensional colleges created for those gifted with a Path.

The universe is much larger than Max had even known ever during his first life. Max is not the Hero of Albion anymore, but the drive to excel is still part of his nature. And the more power he has, the easier it should be to save his world.

...Right?

slow start but it gets better by the hour need more words but dont have any

goot one

Ett fel uppstod. Försök igen om några minuter.
I came in expecting little but was very positively surprised. The premise is fun and the pacing great.
What i like most is how much agency the main character demonstrates. In my opinion a good protagonist needs to "protag": their actions need to be driving the story forward as opposed to just being dragged along by circumstances. And Max does a great job at that.
Also many other pitfalls of litrpg are avoided elegantly.

Really good

Ett fel uppstod. Försök igen om några minuter.
When I saw the name and read the summary, I was expecting some sort of ISEKAI but instead of someone from our world going somewhere else, someone of a foreign world coming to us, finding their way, referencing some Pop Culture we don‘t know, ect. Instead I was finding really well crafted world and main character.
Waiting for the second book.

Not as expected, but really good

Ett fel uppstod. Försök igen om några minuter.
the Twist and Plots are way to obvi. there is the usual stereotyp of bullies and dumb SCs. The MC is gettin played almost the whole time, which is really annoying. I expected more from a former Hero with some lvl of exp. The flow of Information is really slow and within several hours into the book you still know close to nothing. there is the quite slow progress too.

I am done with this series and cant recommend it.

kinda boring
