I listened to it on 1.5 which was just perfect.

The narrator is great but it's the philosophy of the book that I had an issue with. It's basically a collection of stories centered on the idea of introjection of our parents voices (an old idea in psychology) but it is stated as a new discovery. The stories have an unnecessary sexual focus in the spirit of Freud, even when it is not necessary to the plot (the story of Brodsky, for instance). I felt like the topic wasn't explored deep enough and from various angles. But that's only my impression.
