If no one knows that you saved the world, does it really count?

Eight years ago the world almost ended and Max lost everything, accused of betrayal and failure.

Now working as a Marshal, keeping the city and its people safe from supernatural dangers, Max thinks she's broken all ties to her past. She's just trying to do her job and live her life.

Asked to help local law enforcement with a series of vicious murders, Max is willing to assist but soon realises that she might be next. Can she keep her secret while finding the killer?

Definitely one of the most interesting world buildings I've ever read/listened to. After the events in book 3, even though you want to know more new information about the world in book 4 we only get some at the very end of said book, so a bit of patience is needed. Which makes the happenings in book 5 all the more sweeter. Adventure, fantasy, action, hunting mixed with a more interesting version of crime than any other books of that specific genre I've ever heard about and only a very little bit of light romance towards the very end, no smut at all. I absolutely adore this mix and would love if there ever was a new series written about this world!

Love the world building

In der Reihe (und in den anderen von ihr) liegt der Fokus auf der Geschichte und der Charakter Entwicklung. Ein dezenter Anteil an Romantik.
War für mich sehr erfrischend an zu hören.
