Darrow returns as Pierce Brown’s New York Times bestselling Red Rising series continues in the thrilling sequel to Dark Age.

“The measure of a man is not the fear he sows in his enemies. It is the hope he gives his friends.”—Virginia au Augustus

The Reaper is a legend, more myth than man: the savior of worlds, the leader of the Rising, the breaker of chains.

But the Reaper is also Darrow, born of the red soil of Mars: a husband, a father, a friend.

The worlds once needed the Reaper. But now they need Darrow. Because after the dark age will come a new age: of light, of victory, of hope.

I think that I loved the story more because of the narrator! Thanks God there will be one more book!

I loved the first red rising trilogy and I think the first two books of the sequel did not have the same quality. Light bringer, however, may be the best book of the series. Pierce Brown brings back the strong main characters and spins a fascinating story that leaves you with a strong appetite for the next book.

Just a great book!

I loved Light Bringer the most it gave me the same excitement as Golden Son the second installment gave me. I myself as a German speaker had the pleasure to listen to Marco SvenReinbold as narrator, his voice is the Voice of Darrow! Which made the polite undertone of this Narrator version a bit hard to bare. Will definitely get the German version as soon as it comes out

What a follow up!!! Narrator sounds like Merlin :(
