Lake: Snagging the hunter was the easy part. Now, I have to prove to him that a life filled with chaos, the most amazing fish ever, and delightful me is so much better than normal—trust me, he isn’t too hard to convince.

But when a group of insolent chimeras laughably think they can target my one true love, they have another thing coming for them—likely death.

With my dubious sidekicks in tow—and Declan, who is as happy as I am to run headfirst into danger—we travel across the country to track down why these chimeras are harassing Declan. But what we find might prove yet again that you never know who the real monster is.

Declan: Yeah...what he said. Except the fish part.

Just like Declan I'm a sucker for Lake. He is so confusingly charming, even when he is furry, the things that you would do for him are ridiculous.
This book builds right onto the first part and continues with another exiting road trip. It was awesome to be with Declan and Lake, really enjoyed the rodeo, and I need to hear more about them and their little found family.
The narrator does an awesome job all the way.

I loved every minute of this!

While this may not be everyones opinion, for me, this is one of the best story's and audiobook out there. I love the voice actor and the story and can't wait for the next part of this series.

Love it

Lake is so funny. And Michael Ferraiuolo really makes him come alive. I love the gasps. The side characters like Mittens or Fishstick are brilliant additions. Declan, though stern and serious, is lovable too, as are the other characters belonging to their 'family'. The story as such was very good too.

Hilarious characters
