How to Save a Human contains a cat who shows her affection by not drawing (much) blood, art projects that are a little...sketchy, the most underwhelming “bull” ride ever, and vampires that may or may not be in the mob.

Die erste 3/4 der Story sind inhaltlich gut, jedoch war ich sehr enttäuscht, da es für mich nicht in den Handlungsstrang der Serie gepasst hat und eher wie eine komplette Sidestory erschien. Mit dem letzten 1/4 hat die Autorin es jedoch noch geschafft, das ganze sehr gut abzurunden.
Das letzte Viertel war für mich persönlich das Beste. Ich liebe Claude, Alexei, Marcus und Finn. Die Charakter dieses Bandes sind auch sympathisch und als alleinstehende Buch sicher gut gemacht (da die Autorin einfach super schreiben kann), aber da ich die anderen Persönlichkeiten der Serie kenne, können River und Bentley für mich deren Niveau einfach nicht erreichen bzw. nicht mithalten. Daher nur 4 Sterne für den Inhalt.
Ich hoffe mehr als alles andere, dass es ein weiteres Band der Reihe geben wird, das sich wieder mehr auf Marcus und Finn (inklusive Claude und Alexei) fokussiert.
Insgesamt ist die Reihe es auf jeden Fall wert rein zu schnuppern!
