Om den här titeln
The fourth novel in Isaac Asimov’s classic science-fiction masterpiece, the Foundation series

THE EPIC SAGA THAT INSPIRED THE APPLE TV+ SERIES FOUNDATION

At last, the costly and bitter war between the two Foundations has come to an end. The scientists of the First Foundation have proved victorious, and now they return to Hari Seldon’s long established plan to build a new Empire on the ruins of the old. But rumors persist that the Second Foundation is not destroyed after all—and that its still-defiant survivors are preparing their revenge. Now two exiled citizens of the Foundation—a renegade Councilman and a doddering historian—set out in search of the mythical planet Earth . . . and proof that the Second Foundation still exists.

Meanwhile someone—or something—outside of both Foundations seems to be orchestrating events to suit its own ominous purpose. Soon representatives of both the First and Second Foundations will find themselves racing toward a mysterious world called Gaia and a final, shocking destiny at the very end of the universe. super interesting sequel of the infamous trilogy, briliant reading ties nicely with the robotic books

great book

Ett fel uppstod. Försök igen om några minuter.
Since Reality seems to develop in a rather decaying way these days, this Book and the whole “History of the Future”-Epic, that encompasses all of the “Foundation”-Universe, draw a picture of it, that is - despite its definitely novel challenges (yet truly consistent with human potentials as we know them from past and present) for their (imagined) context - a rather hopeful and inspiring one❣️

That’s why I will love to listen to the whole “Epic” over and over again until the End of my Existence in this Uni-/Multiverse.
Also, it seems that many of Asimov’s Concepts/Ideas have in some way been incorporated into Marvel-Comics-Universe these days and before I’m sure.

One of the best SciFi-Novels I’ve read/listened-to
