Dr. Bill Creasy
If we were to choose an epitaph for David, it would be the closing verse of Psalm 23: “And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever”; if we were to choose an epitaph for Solomon it would be from the opening lines of Ecclesiastes: “Meaningless, meaningless, everything is meaningless.” Although remembered as a stunningly successful king, Solomon is the Bible’s greatest failure in the end. And in Ecclesiastes, he admits it. Join Logos Bible Study’s Dr. Bill Creasy as he explores Ecclesiastes, a study of Solomon in sharp contrast to his father, David.

Dr. Bill Creasy of Logos Bible Study uses a literary, historical approach to examine and enliven the bible for modern listeners. Dr. Creasy draws on his studies, travels, and personal anecdotes to depict a vivid picture of the works of scripture. Somewhere between a sermon and a college lecture, he delivers these audiobooks with authority but a pleasantly friendly voice and a touch of fun, using contemporary references.
Dr. Creasy calls Ecclesiastes Solomon’s epitaph; what psalm 23 is for David. He discusses it here in depth describing it as a brutally honest look into Solomon’s heart that Creasy warns can be pretty depressing but is full of wisdom and worth serious examination.
