August Blackthorne is broke, fresh out of a messy breakup, and the apparent object of a stalker’s affection. But everything changes when he finally confronts the guy who’s been following him, only to discover that he’s actually...himself. From a parallel universe. A smarter, more confident, sexy quantum physicist version of him, and for some reason, he wants August’s help.
August Blackthorne (the other one) was supposed to find the other version of himself, put their brains together, and fix the problem he’s created. Only that August isn’t a quantum physicist—he’s a bodybuilding, music-loving, karate-teaching sweetheart. And unless they can find a way to undo this mess, his whole existence will be torn apart, atom by atom, himself included.
How are they supposed to save the universe when doing so will destroy each other, the one person each truly cares about?

I especially liked how they supported each other. The emotional moments became a little heavier than I expected at one point, but it never felt unnecessary. It fit the story and made sense for the characters. So, I definitely recommend it. The narrator did a great job.
