Om den här titeln

In the remote and unpredictable Aleutians, danger comes without warning in an adrenaline rush of a novel by USA Today bestselling author Rachel Grant.

Archaeologist Fiona Carver has unfinished business in the Aleutian Islands. After an emergency evacuation cut her first expedition short, she’s finally back. But time is not on her side as she races to finish documenting the remnants of a prehistoric village, recover missing artifacts, and track down missing volcanologist Dylan Slater.

Having bluffed his way onto Fiona’s team with fake credentials, wildlife photographer Dean Slater is willing to risk more than federal prison to find his missing brother, but he needs Fiona’s help. She knows the inhospitable terrain better than anyone.

When the two set out together on a perilous journey, it becomes more than a recovery mission. In their fight for survival, nature isn’t the only threat. They aren’t the only ones on the hunt. Mile by dangerous mile, someone is hunting them.

ok so this is ment to be a bluddy romance this book was not romantic it was painfull and heartrenching there is no HEA/HFN there is just an end a painfull one that just doesnt give a good feeling at all. normaly i love Rachels books but this was just sad, it was so bad i dont even want to touch the next book in the series. the H is a dick he makes the h fall in love with him he keeps claiming she means something to him but just not enough to risk his heart i guess hes a cawerd and she lets him play with her in that way its just not a good book at all. if there would have been an actuall romance it could have easaly goot 4/5* but like this its 2 at a max for the story and only a 3 overall because of the talented speaker. i realy wouldnt recomend this book.

terrible on many levels

Though it took me some time to get into the story, I never put the book down and I surely do not regret it. Fiona has some serious suspicions about her co-workers which are about to be tested. Fighting for their lifes with about zilch chance of survival, Fiona and Dean get closer than both of them wants. When secrets are revealed they still have to keep going. Great story I enjoyed very much.
