I absolutely loved this book. The mix of romance, fantasy, and LGBTQ+ themes really resonated with me. Max’s determination to chase after Jasper, despite the emotional challenges, had me hooked. The chemistry between the characters is intense, and the world-building kept me invested. Jessup captures the complexities of young love and self-acceptance beautifully. I found the emotional highs and lows so relatable, and the story’s pace made it hard to put down. A heartfelt and adventurous read!

The conclusions Max comes to are very touching and plausible for most ( queer) people out there.
However, the ending was a bit unsatisfactory, with how long the conclusion takes and how unfairly is treated. Would’ve liked a little bit more closure. Was funny and relatable nonetheless
