Life has become a farcical mess for icy British A-lister Elizabeth Thornton. America's most-hated villain stars in a top-rated TV medical drama that she hates. Now, she's been romantically linked to her perky, new co-star, Summer, due to the young woman's clumsiness. As a closeted actress, that's the last thing Elizabeth needs. If she could just get her dream movie role, life would be so much better. The only problem is that the eccentric French film-maker offering it insists on meeting her "girlfriend", Summer, first.

Summer Hayes is devastated when her co-star shuns her for accidentally sparking rumors that they're lovers. Now the so-called British Bitch has the audacity to ask Summer to pretend to be her girlfriend to get her a role? Elizabeth doesn't even like Summer! Oh, how she'd love to tell her no. And Summer definitely would if it wasn't for the fact she's maybe a tiny bit in love with the impossible woman.

Contains mature themes.

👉🏻 An adorable book from Lee Winter. My heart is full.

💡 The story takes place in Los Angeles and is about two actresses who couldn’t be more different. Summer Hayes is an LA-born 28-year-old ex-child-star and Elizabeth Thornton, UK-born 37-year-old villain on a medical drama show. When their paths are crossing, their lives intervene and change forever. I fell in love with them so much but also with the story and honestly, literally everything. Their dynamic is superb, and the quotes and references GAVE ME LIFE. My absolute favourite quote was, “Your kiss made my ovaries explode—they’re still on life support. Thanks for that.” 😂

♥️ I can recommend this book definitely. I liked the scenery, the hollywoodesque style, the dialogues... It fit my taste just perfectly.

Loved it

The Characters are immediately relateable and the Story is well paced. The absolute best is the voice acting, I have to get another book with that reading right away.

Delightful

I've been a lesbian fanfiction reader for ages and that's wife I know Lee Winter from. She's one of the top notch writers in the fandom, and in the lesbian novels universe. It's truly a blessing that one of her novels is available on audible with a talented speaker such as Angela Dawe.
I so wish there would me more of this.

Best lesbian novel

Great story (Lee Winter is one of my favorite lesfic writers) with an outstanding performance by Angela Dawe narrating this book. Her enormous talent in performing a huge variety of dialects and accents is unmached and adding so much value to the story.
I am a trained acctress and I am in awe of her talent. I keep coming back to this book.

Great story with an outstanding narrator!
