JOINED BY BLOOD. BOUND BY DESTINY.

Reeling from Cassiel's confession, Dyna struggles to understand what the Blood Bond means for them both, all the while trying to stay one step ahead of a new found enemy. When reuniting with a familiar sorceress, she realizes the only way to defeat Tarn is to find her Guardians—all of them.

Cassiel never meant to tie himself to a human, especially one that inexplicably draws him. But then the bond develops a startling change, and it puts into question everything he thought he knew. Zev straddles the line between human and wolf, unsure if his dark thoughts truly belong to the Madness. It's growing stronger, determined to take over—and he may just let it.

The journey to get the answers they each need will test them all. But what Dyna doesn't know is that it comes with a price, and it may cost more than she bargained for.

The quality continues in the sequel to Divine Blood. I loved seeing how the individual characters interacted and grew throughout the book and how realistic the relationships were. Where not everybody is perfect and they don't immediately click.

I think it's totally okay to be annoyed by the fact that Casiel and Dinalia (or however you spell those) avoid talking about the bond because that's what humans do - they avoid topics which make them uncomfortable or that are out of their control. I even understand Lucinda's choices even if she rubs me the wrong way at various turns. I don't expect people who have relied on only themselves for so long to just simply give up all their defenses at the drop of the hat.

I don't disagree that there were a lot of twists and turns but there was also a pleasant lack of Deus Ex Machina that I appreciated. I do look forward to listening to the next book!

After many many many avoidances...they talk

Teil zwei war genauso fesselnd wie der erste Teil. Ich bin sooo gespannt wie es weiter geht und sich die verschiedenen Situationen ausgehen..

Part 2 and more questions

Story is nice but Dyna and the relationship to Cassiel is so annoying that I couldn’t finish the book

Nice story but awful romance
