“We were a thousand miles away from home when the car gave up the ghost....”

When Jack’s car breaks down in the middle of a cross-country road trip, the mysterious house at the top of the hill is a beacon of hope. If he can borrow a phone to call for help, he’ll be on his way in no time. But someone - or something - has other plans. Soon, Jack finds himself trapped in a nightmare that defies logic, where a depraved killer on the loose is the least of his problems. Will Jack escape before it’s too late?

A house full of strangers.

An unsolvable mystery.

A night that won’t end.

Welcome to Bedside Manor.

Not suited for headphones due to the horrendous quality of the microphone of the narrator. He did a wonderful job and made me laugh out loud but damn did it hurt my ears at one point. Had to swap to a speaker.

Narrator mic horrendous

Good, small thing. I used it for distraction, it kinda worked. The story reminded me indie horror games from the very beginning, and it was just like that. All expected, just like talking to an old friend. But if you were never exposed to indie horrors, then you might really like it and get new emotions and stuff.

I liked the sound effects, really great. You can work on it, but don't remove them. Good job!

Good, easy "read". Really reminds indie horror games.

A wild ride, even for this series. The story is only tangentially connected to the previous books and works nicely on it's own.

Only negative thing about it, would be the introduction of sound effects. I can see why you gave it a try, but please don't do that again.

And now for something completely different

Love both story and narrative.
Books atmosphere is just amazing, want to find more books like this.

Just amazing book and narrative.
