Atlantis - the mythical city that was first mentioned by Plato in his Timaeus and Critias. While largely believed to be fictional, Atlantis has made its way into literature and manages to flourish over the years. Through time, the myth became a legend that eventually enticed individuals to delve into this ancient city and find out whether Plato's references are mere fiction or actually a fact.
In this book, you will find out the various arguments to and for the existence of Atlantis as well as the various theories on where it is located, why it disappeared, and the civilization rumored to exist within this island.
You will also find out about the many theories surrounding the story of Atlantis and the islands thought to be what was left behind by this ancient civilization. You will learn of the characteristics of Atlantis as relied by Plato and how they have been used as a literal map in order to find this utopian society.
