Marty is confused. It's all David's doing. Our nymph had reconciled herself to being fired; but David unexpectedly knocks on her door. He brings a gift and begs her to return. He confesses. Everything is his fault. He wasn't thinking straight. But she's heard these sorts of things from him before. What to do? Whom can she turn to for guidance?
Yes, of course! She realizes: "I have my inner voices, the ones who speak to my mind. They will help me sort everything out. They know me better than anyone; certainly, much better than my shrinks. I'll have a nice relaxing conversation with Miss Promiscuity, my very favorite voice. The two of us will decide what I'll tell Bob about those things I keep bundled up inside myself. I'll be honest with him, like my shrink advises; except I won't mention my murders, okay?
We'll discuss whether we'll accept David's invitation to see him. We'll decide whether or not I should seduce him. You'll tell me what I should wear, if I do decide to see him and seduce him, won't you? Oh, you will! Thank you, promiscuity. You're the best. I knew you would!"
