Marcus Kern Sammanfattning

MARCUS KERN: OPEN LINE

Book One of THE THIRD MERIDIAN

Explosives hidden inside passengers’ bodies begin detonating over American cities.

One aircraft is destroyed before landing in Washington. A second explodes on the ground in Atlanta. A third reaches Heathrow with a dying passenger on board—and a surgical incision beneath his ribs hiding a device inside his body.

Airports shut down. The FAA grounds departures and brings civilian aircraft down across the country. NORAD moves into the posture America remembers from September 11. At Heathrow, British specialists recover the first intact device.

Then a group calling itself The Third Meridian claims responsibility.

But the aviation attack is only the beginning.

Within minutes, TV networks show a QR code. People copy it. Screenshots spread through private chats. A platform called OPEN LINE opens “rooms” for pain: medical debt, eviction, migration, deportation, broken families, forgotten veterans.

Every grievance gets a room. Every room gets a counter. Every counter becomes proof that people are no longer alone.

Marcus Kern survives an onboard explosion with his daughter and is pulled into a new kind of war, where the weapon is not only explosives, but the attention of millions.

The White House, intelligence agencies, police, cyber teams, and allies struggle to understand what they are facing. Marcus sees the structure first: the aircraft were not the main operation.

They were the launch.

The enemy understands algorithms, live broadcasts, synthetic faces, AI-sorted human pain, digital crowds, psychological pressure, and democratic weak points in panic.

OPEN LINE takes tools already used in advertising, politics, media, social networks, and wars for attention—and turns them into a coordinated act of war.

A hard-edged geopolitical techno-thriller about aviation terror, media warfare, AI manipulation, social collapse, and an enemy that understands the modern world better than those trying to defend it.
