When Billy Whitebread clocked in that night, he was fully expecting to work a regular midnight shift at his decidedly unregular job. But the Book Man is not an ordinary spirit. He serves a dark and powerful master, and he has no intention of ever facing judgement for his horrible crimes. In order to keep his place at his master's right hand, the Book Man's true identity must remain lost to time. He will do anything in his considerable power to keep it this way. Anything at all...
