Andover is a quiet town. No screams disturb its slumber, although perhaps they should - when the bones of the dead are taken form their graces, and the residents begin to disappear…But who could guess that behind the walls of a local hospital, a cult of inhuman bloodsuckers lurk and feed and fiendishly devise a new defense against their ancient weakness? There may be no winning against this eternal enemy of mankind, but Abe must do what he can to combat this evil of evils that stretches across time and dimension. This is a foe beyond vampires, beyond werewolves, zombies, and giant lampreys. This is a mind assassin.   

Each of eight short stories based on the characters from the author's eight continuing series make up a Party of 8.
