After two years of taking care of her heartbroken father, Evie needs a new start. Leaving the States and following her sister to Australia to work as the personal assistant of rugby star Xavier "The Beast" Stevens seems like the right kind of distraction. Tall, muscled, and devilishly handsome, Xavier is the love 'em and leave 'em kind of guy. He never forgets a girl's name because he never bothers to remember it in the first place. Evie soon realizes that being Xavier's assistant is a 24/7 job; the man seems unwilling to even set an alarm for himself.

It was supposed to be simple - drink tequila, forget about the life I’m running away from, and have one wild night. That’s exactly what my next-door neighbor, Aubrey, told me to do. That’s when I met him - the arrogant Aussie. It’s easy to forget a night with a stranger until that stranger is living next door.

Based on keen observation over a lifetime of veterinary practice, Dr Tom Lonsdale gives us the tools to keep our pets healthy. The early chapters reveal essential dietary information—the foundation of good health for all species. Recounting testimonials from grateful pet owners, Tom describes the failings of modern veterinary practice. We learn how veterinary schools brainwash young vets. He helps us identify how most vets selectively disregard scientific facts as they push pet food industry propaganda costing our pets their lives and costing us billions.

Dr Tom Lonsdale’s original, pioneering work Raw Meaty Bones is the foremost book on the nutritional needs of pet dogs, cats and ferrets. First published in 2001—and of still greater importance today—the 14 chapters are packed with information vital for pet owners and pet professionals the world over. Lonsdale explains how industrial diets devastate the health of pets, how dirty tartar encrusted teeth, sore gums and stinky breath signal the downward spiral of ill-health, suffering and needless trips to the vet.

If dogs could talk, what would they say is the best diet to keep them in tiptop condition? Would they recommend a selection of cans and packets from the supermarket. Or would they recommend half a chicken and a fresh rabbit? In Work Wonders, Dr. Lonsdale looks at the dietary needs of dogs from a dog’s perspective, taking account of Nature’s teachings, easily understood science and sound common sense.

"Do Not Respond" emails are meant to be sent to yourself only - never to be reread or responded to. Vent about your mean boss and don't focus on the scruff on his chin. Ignore the butterflies that flutter as he stares back at you and concentrate on his condescending tone. I wish I'd listened. I wish I'd never drank my body weight in vodka and sent him a venting email, telling him exactly what I really thought about his Lycra-wrapped package and the way he makes my body hum.
